Welcome to the OCF Board Candidate Forum and Web Video broadcast. The Get Out the Vote Team is excited to bring you questions from the actual September 14, 2011 forum, and individual candidate statements, that can be watched and re-played at your leisure.
This year, we are excited to have a generous donation of Dana’s Cheesecake to serve at the forum. Thanks Dana’s for the wonderful and yummy addition of “Cheesecake with the Candidates” to the forum! Sorry, you won’t be able to enjoy the cheesecake after the fact for your on-line viewing….
We are hopeful that this new event will allow increased member participation and education in board elections by providing fair voters with easy access to information about OCF Board candidates.

OCF Get Out the Vote Team
OCF Get Out The Vote (GOTV) Team is excited to report that we registered 679 voters and 473 Fair Family voters at this year’s Oregon Country Fair. The GOTV Team has been working since 2004 to register state and national voters, and more recently, Fair Family voters, at the Fair. Every fall, our registration efforts are followed up with a nonpartisan turnout effort, reminding Fairgoers to vote in their state and national elections. This year’s effort brings the grand total of voters registered at Fair since the GOTV Team’s creation to just over 5,500 state and national voters, and more than 2,600 Fair Family voters. As always, we had a great time this year registering voters during pre-Fair and during the actual Fair. We always appreciate Fair family’s enthusiastic response to our efforts, thank you! it’s always nice to hear your encouraging and supportive words as GOTV Team members work the lines and heave multiple clipboards.
